When Occupy Wall Street ran out of graffiti room they joined Medium, as editors.

That has to be where Medium recruited them, because everything they recommend is Millennial twaddle about capitalism’s enrichment of the 2% and capitalism’s failure to provide opportunities for college students and capitalism’s refusal to pay for free wifi and tuck them in at night.

The authors have no clue, yet Medium pushes them at me relentlessly so, I must conclude, Medium’s editors have no clue.

One fine day one of my literary feeds recommended a “story” entitled something like “How I ZX#%ed a Hollywood Starlet Over the Bar,” at which point I discontinued that feed.

The quality and tenor of the things Medium’s editors recommend approximates what I expect from particularly immature, unguided twelve year old boys.

So, maybe I’m wrong about Medium’s editors coming from Occupy Wallstreet, maybe they went down to the local skate park and hired a bunch of twelve year olds.

Either way, I used Medium’s editorial recommendations as contrary indicators, but that helps little. At the same time Medium pushes its editor’s ignorant, immature twaddle at me, it gives me no easy way to search for the things I want, probably not consciously conspiring against all non-Millennial authors, but simply not agreeing with anything written by the 99.9% of the world’s population that isn’t of their group, American Millennials.

They seem truly proud of their intellectual ignorance.
