Jennifer Lawrence seems out of place in the past.

She’s better doing gritty todays and gritty, futuristic tomorrows than gritty yesterdays.

I’ve been a Lawrence fan since “Winter’s Bone”. She deserved the Oscar for “Silver Linings Playbook” and was great in “American Hustle”. Give her a script and someone to play against and she’s magic.

I don’t know who’s making her script decisions. If it’s her manager, I wish he had better judgment.
