Brexit & Spygate — Beyond le Carré
As the Anglophone world circles the drain, subterfuge divides the people who could save it.

David Cornwell was both spy catcher and spy in Britain’s MI5 and MI6 before he became John le Carré, and enthralled the rest of us with tales of the cloak and dagger world. His complex characters and plots, while completely contrived, felt real. However, had he penned the plot that’s paralyzing the Anglophone world now, we’d have laughed in his face.
The entire concept seems too contrived to be true. But — it is.
